Snijd voor het aansteken de lont tot een hoogte van ongeveer 5 mm zodat de vlam stabiel is en de kaars niet rookt. De optimale brandtijd is 3 tot 4 uur - dit voorkomt tunnelen (de was zal gelijkmatig smelten) en zorgt er ook voor dat de kaars zijn volle aroma kan ontwikkelen. Nadat de kaars volledig is opgebrand, wast u de kom met zeepwater en gebruikt u hem opnieuw.

Laat kaarsen nooit onbeheerd branden. Gebruik de kaarsen op eigen risico. Houd kaarsen buiten het bereik van kinderen en huisdieren. Wees voorzichtig, de container kan heet zijn.
